For the last two years, we at Vyeth Television have been producing a weekly news and current affairs programme KASHMIR FILE for DD-1, DD-CNNI, DD-India and Kashur Channel (of DDK, Srinagar).

Through this programme, we have attempted to record history as witnessed by all.

Jammu and Kashmir is returning to democracy and peace. The State is holding Assembly Elections since 7th September, 1996. Same day, our 75th episode was telecast.

Spread over the 75 episodes, our themes have included news, political affairs, culture, nostalgia, literature, festivals, the tragedies and the hope.
