Mrs. Krishna Kaul

Date of passing: 2026-02-08

Krishna Kaul

Krishna Kaul, mother of Anita Kaul (Fulshear, Texas) and Ajay Kaul (Jammu) passed

away and went to Shiva Loka on Sunday, Feb 8, 2026 at 8:45 AM in Jammu.

Krishna Kaul was born in Bhan family in Kashmir valley in July 1943 and spent her

grown up years in Shrinagar until she got married into Kaul family (Kremshore,

Kashmir). She was married to Late Bansi Lal Kaul for 50 years until his passing away in

August 2013.

Krishna and Bansi Lal were blessed with two children, whom they raised and educated

well, like any Kashmiri Pandit parents. Their daughter, Anita Kaul, married to Surendar

N Kaul (Fulshear, Texas) immigrated to the US in 1991 and has been living in the Great

State of Texas since then. Their son Ajay Kaul, married to Babita Kaul, after travelling

and working round the globe, finally settled in Jammu.

Krishna Kaul was addressed by different names, depending upon the relation -- to her

grandchildren she was naanima or badi mummy; to her children and their spouses, she

was Mummy or Maa; on her in-laws side, she was addressed as Rani; whereas on her

home side, she was Kishni. She enjoyed life to the fullest with few health-related ups

and downs. She was kindhearted, jovial, loved being outdoors and enjoyed what one

would call chat-patta food. She enjoyed Texas weather, people, especially Kashmiri

Biradari and attended several TKB Herath camps. She lived in Texas for 5 years before

moving to Jammu.

Though one may feel lugubrious on her passing, but let us take the moment to celebrate

her life. Let us all pray for Moksha and Shiva Loka attainment for her departed soul.
